Know this bloodstock? No? Well, it’s a North-American horse charachterised by slick hair and spotted coat but, above all, it’s the horse that made history. Infact it’s the most appreciated animal for the American Natives who needed its services to hunt the buffalo and wander across the endless American prairies.
Horse School
Our riding school will help you enjoy the green surrounding countryside, jog trotting in it or take horse riding customised or group lessons.
In our riding school close to Pavia, expert instructors will teach you a unique specialty: the Appaloosa saddleless riding, American way, to engage a truly strong bond of friendship, cooperation and respect to the horse itself.
Ca’de Figo riding school is open all year through and offers:
- Individual lessons (25,00 €)
- Group lessons (20,00 €)
- Horse riding by request (15,00 €)
- Only pupils aged 9 or older are admitted
- Indoor school during winter
- Showjumping is available
- Court for retired horses
- Grass paddock

Horse breeding
Ca’de Figo farms Appaloosa foals with a minimum of 72% up to a maximum of 97% of pure original Appaloosa blood, thanks to the “Appaloosa Foundation”.
Ca’de Figo, along with its horse breeding point near Pavia, wants to breed specimen as similar to the original as possible: its speciment, infact, are distinguished by colour, morphology and beauty. They are all meek and mild, then, because they have been looked after since their birth.
Here your own horses may be trained and hosted in large and modern stables, ideally suitable both for retired horses and pregnant mares.
